York Street Restaurant is governed by an ethical culinary philosophy, where “supporting sustainable, responsibly raised food lies at the heart of what we do best.” Chef Sharon A. Hage uses fresh ingredients in dishes like Wolf Fish Di Parma, which features a prosciutto roast, thin green beans, and sherry-shallot vinaigrette, and pairs her menu with a selection of teas that stands in for a more traditional wine menu. Also at the heart of what York Street does best is promote its family – get to know baker Armando Castillo; the waiter, Clint Patronella, and receptionist, Sheryl White. But most of …

Transplanted from the hit restaurant that opened in New York in 2002, Craft Dallas maintains owner/chef Tom Colicchio’s original vision – to prepare the best seasonal ingredients simply and with finesse. Open for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, Craft’s menus offer dishes as diverse as the Short Rib and Shishito Pepper Hash for breakfast and the roasted and braised Muscovy Duck with cranberries for dinner. Every dish is presented on a platter at the center of the table to encourage sharing, and the gesture may extend to divvying up one of the many home-made desserts and pastries.

The restaurant has concrete floors, metal chairs and railings mixed with bamboo walls, stone figurines and bamboo place mats. The Tex-Asian cuisine was given a four star rating by the Dallas Morning News …

It is surprising that Chaparall is now out of business, considering it was a very high profile restaurant at the Adams Mark Hotel in Dallas. Patrons could literally experience the high rise on the thirty eighth-floor in a warm, rich setting that was suited for both private and more lively dining. Offering both steak and seafood, such as the Seared Red Snapper and Cherry Smoked Pork Chop, there was quite a wide range of nutrients to choose. The restaurant shall be missed by Dallas locals and hotel patrons alike.
