In addition to our handmade pastas and brick oven pizzas, our dishes are inspired by classic Italian ingredients and preparations.
Our extensive menu holds something for everyone. From inspired small plates and antipasti boards featuring a selection of salumi and cheeses, to entrees made with free-range poultry, sustainable seafood, and all natural meats. Our large selection of vibrant salads are made with local organic greens and seasonal produce.
Like many Italians, we believe that the best times are had over a glass of wine or an aperitivo. Garry, It is difficult to hear your experience with us was such a disappointment. We thoroughly understand our ambiance and/or menu may not be right for everyone, but that doesn't mean we ever stop short of doing whatever we can to make things right while you are dining with us. Your feedback is valuable, as is all feedback, and we thank you for taking the time to be unapologetically honest with us. Perhaps the biggest let down (for us) is that we were unaware of how poorly your experience was going while you were in the restaurant. If our owners/managers were given the opportunity to rectify a meal you were unsatisfied with and listen to your concerns, perhaps we could have prevented you from leaving with a negative first impression. It is always challenging to find out about an experience such as yours after the fact and not have the opportunity to communicate openly and sincerely, face to face. Our owners are heavily involved in all we do and take the time to read the feedback our guests provide us with at all 9 of our restaurants. If they have learned nothing after 15 years of owning, operating, and expanding businesses in the hospitality industry, it is that we aren't always going to get it right - but we are always going to try. Their standards and expectations for service and the guest experience do not fluctuate - whether someone is eating at one of our locations in Shelton, Fairfield, New Haven, or Newtown. And while we understand we failed to deliver that experience for you, we certainly hope that a year from now, we will be able to welcome you back and earn your business. Secondly, thank you for bringing the concerns with the cocktail you ordered to our attention - supplementing a drink for one you did not ask for, without any sort of communication, is not acceptable and something our managers will address immediately. That being said, it's unfortunate we didn't know this happened while you were in the restaurant so we could have rectified the situation. Friday and Saturday evenings can be on the louder side, which is a causality of the weekend volume most restaurants experience (because we have a smaller space, it does get challenging to combat the noise at times). We never want a guest to leave feeling underwhelmed or like their expectations were not met - we take your feedback very seriously and would welcome the opportunity to further discuss the details of your visit with you.
