The sizzler was not a sizzler was old and dry and didn’t taste fresh. The chicken livers were drowned in a sauce that tasted bitter and muddy and was a fail sorry not coming back

Waited a while for our order to be taken tables that arrived after us had their drinks and food order taken first. Had to ask for more drink orders after the initial first one and after the food was served there was no follow up to ask if everything was ok. I love Olive & Thyme. The staff are pleasant. The food is delightful with a great ambience. In the last 3 months, I have been 4 times, taking different people with me to share the experience. I highly recommend the garlic mushrooms or prawns as a starter. The lamb chops are another favourite. All the food in general is fabulous. If you have never been, I would highly recommend a visit!!!!

Very friendly, welcoming staff. We had our 12mth grandson with us, a clean, cushioned high chair had been provided and staff interacted with him, ensuring his food arrived promptly.

I had a wonderful experience at olive and Thyme. I went with a friend during Ramadaan. The waiter brought over complementary dates for me to open my fast, the food was brought out promptly just before my fast open.
They were really attentive, the food was delicious as always and the service was fantastic.

The staff were excellent, attentive without being overbearing. Scores have been marked down as it’s was far too warm in the restaurant, uncomfortable at times. Anytime the front door was opened it was refreshing to get some cooler air. Turning the heating down slightly would have made for a more enjoyable dining experience and also save some money on your heating bill. Other than that had a fantastic meal and will definitely be back. Just turn the heating down next time.

Been here many times and normally the service and food is excellent but on this occasion we felt it could have been better. 10min wait stood at doorway to be seated even though we’d booked in advance.
Our main meals arrived whilst we were still eating our starters.
Asked for my lamb chops to be cooked to medium and they were sadly over cooked and dry. No steak knife offered.
Had to wait and get someone’s attention so we could order more drinks.
And again when we wanted to pay we had a while to wait to get staff member’s attention.
It’s a lovely restaurant with great value food but just missed that personal touch on this occasion.

This is the first time we dined here. I took my 7 year old with me as well.
The starters were extremely tasty, we ordered the rolls and the small pizza.
The main course looked amazing but it was really difficult to eat from the first bite as it seemed completely overloaded with salt.
Unsure what went wrong - I had the avocado chicken with chips on the side - the sauce was drenched with salt, the chicken the same as well as the avocado. It’s only the chips that were without salt.
It was the same with the spag Bol, half eaten due to the immense amount of salt.
The kids pasta meal was the only main course without a triple helping of salt.
The two main courses really let this dining experience down otherwise the meals would have been spot on. If this is what every main meal consists of, it’s not worth the price we spent unfortunately.

The only thing that met the service down was not really communicating. We sat and waited after a starter and main to be asked if we'd like to see a desert menu. I felt once we'd eaten we were just forgotten about. Just something to pick up on for future customers. Can't fault the food it was amazing.

We sat for 20 minutes and nobody came to take an order. So we left. I doubt they noticed. It wasn’t very busy either. I must admit I haven’t had that experience there before. Cheers
