I have been a frequent but irregular customer of Pani's for over 25 years. It is always my reliable go-to restaurant for great food, a warm welcome and decent wine. It is a cut above your average Italian restaurant because it is actually Sardinian and therefore just that bit different; different pasta styles and no pizza!

The food is always excellent with a wide choice to choose from as well as daily specials. The staff are very professional and courteous and the same member of staff looks after their own particular tables. Wine is opened and left for you to enjoy at your own pace - no topping up of your glass by anyone passing by which is fab. The quality and portion size of the food is also excellent. This was a really enjoyable meal. We have been coming to Pani's for over 20 years and this was the restaurant at its best. We were early but were taken to a table immediately and served with just the right amount of time to think. The food with the Sardinian twist was entertaining and delicious. I had cannoli for desert, was told it was a new in-house recipe, and was asked for my comments afterwards. As this was the one item that was not perfect (hence the 9 not 10) I passed on my views about the over-thick and hard pastry and the inadequate filling. My views were welcomed. Well done Pani's!
