In Japanese mythology, a Tanuki is a shapeshifting prankster, a playful creature with a big heart. We believe dining out should be a fun experience, serving up dishes that make you amused, inquisitive, and, most of all, happy. Zenryoku Izakaya The Japanese word izakaya (居酒屋) is made up of three kanji with the meaning, in order, “stay-drink-place.” A spot to grab a drink, settle in, and get comfortable. While drinking is a big part of it, there's also a constant stream of (shared) dishes.
